The vision of LWEFC is to engage in passionate Gospel outreach and Christ like community. This means that we exist to teach and apply the Bible in ways that overflow out of our church building and church relationships. 1 Peter 4:10 declares "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." Accordingly, we have participated in a variety of outreaches in the surrounding community that include: holding church services at a local campground, doing laundry for people in need, volunteering at the local resale shop, making and serving lunches for area schoolchildren, and much more. Over time, we hope that everyone in our county will have some familiarity with LWEFC through the ways that we have displayed the love and character of Christ through our efforts to serve and better our community.
Each year Lake Wisconsin Church sells kettlecorn at various events throughout the summer and fall. The proceeds from these sales have been used to purchase two playgrounds from an organization called Kids Around the World. The playgrounds will be installed at two school sites in Haiti through an organization called Schools for Haiti. A portion of the funds will assist our LWEFC volunteer team with the cost of the trips to build the playgrounds in the coming months.
