We want LWEFC to be a place where you and your family can experience authentic spiritual growth and support. We believe that the lifelong journey of Christian growth is significantly vitalized through regular engagement with Jesus Christ and his followers in ministry. Here you can find a few simple ways that you can begin plugging in to the LWEFC community. Whether you're a newcomer or a long-time regular attender, we want you to feel welcomed, encouraged, and connected.
Every Sunday morning after the first service the multi-purpose room is open for fellowship, doughnuts, and coffee. We invite you to stick around after the service to meet new people, greet familiar faces, and snack on some tasty treats.
Dinner With Friends
One of our goals at Lake Wisconsin Church is to create frequent opportunities for people to experience Christ like community. Dinner With Friends provides this through placing interested couples and individuals in to temporary small groups that then meet for dinner and conversation. Those interested will be matched by our placement coordinator with 4-8 other individuals. These small groups will then coordinate a host home, as well as a menu, amongst themselves. Scripture reminds us to do this for reasons beyond the merely social: "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing" (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Recent participants have appreciated the way that this ministry helps them make and strengthen relationships, as well as draw and give spiritual encouragement.
Dinner With Friends is available to anyone who considers LWEFC their church home. There is no cost, and new groups are formed quarterly. If you are interested in participating please email Tina, our placement coordinator, at .
