KIDS AROUND THE WORLD

Patti is not a staff member with Kids Around the World but a volunteer that is responsible for raising funds for each trip she is able to go on. It never ceases to amaze her when she stands back and watches how God provides for every need and knows just how much she will need. She is so thankful for the mission team at Lake Wisconsin Free Church and their decision to support her as one of the church missionaries.

Kids Around the World is a nonprofit organization committed to reaching children throughout the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by training Sunday School teachers and local children workers to effectively communicate God’s Word and equipping them with the tools they need so they can continue on after we have left. They have partnered with Campus Crusade for Christ, Samaritan’s Purse, Compassion Ministries, AWANA International, and Child Evangelism as well as many churches throughout the world to accomplish this goal. You can read more about them at www.kidsaroundtheworld.com.

Patti’s main responsibilities during a mission trip is to teach how to make a puppet during the puppet training and the Spiritual Life of a Youth Worker and Evangelism sections of flannel graph training. What takes place between these workshops is what Patti refers to as the “heart” ministry. God always has someone who is at the training with the need to be encouraged and loved in a special way, and in His graciousness Patti is privileged to have a part in His provision for them.
